2. Waiting for my bike

I am in Haparanda. My bike isn't. Hopefully it will arrive after the weekend so I can cross the border to Finland and be on my way. In the meantime, I'm hiking around outside of town and wildcamping at different spots.

Lessons learned from getting 1999 mosquito bites during night 1: Bring mosquito repellant, and camp at a clearing where the wind can blow away most of the the insects. It is now night 2, and I have found just the spot on top of a gravel pit 3 km outside of town.

Border towns are interesting. I'm happy to hear people speaking finnish whenever I go into town, and I haven't even left Sweden yet.
